The mind functions too well to continuously store the past. If only I could shut my eyes for an empty mind tomorrow. Then last night's thoughts will not stay through out to haunt me today.

If only my mind is a powerful one that discards a bad thought as easily as it picks up a new one.

If only it was possible then being forgetful will not be embarrassing.

Imagine the mind of that superior capability, then being sad and regret will be an option. We can stop the thought that triggers our emotional tear glands right away. People will be less revengeful because even the biggest mistake can be forgiven. And you can not look back at my past and only look forward at our present and future.

And maybe we will eventually forget what we are fighting for and live life happily.

For the past few weeks, It was me waking up to a constant haunt of thoughts and expectations.

The minute I see day light, unfriendly thoughts will poke fun at my mind.

"Will I be able to sit with her today? Will I see her the second I walk into class? Who will say Hi to who first? Who will initiate a conversation? If she don't, is she waiting for me to say something?"

The thoughts along that line were never absent. I admit there was a fear of reality not meeting expectations.

Yesterday night, I had a memorable french dinner. It was an onglet beef done medium rare, absolutely gorgeous I told the waiter who came to check on me. But the thought of having that dinner to end the day wasn't on my mind the minute I woke up yesterday morning.

I must say kicking off the day without expectations is a good way to start this brand new page.

And so its time to flip this page of self plotted fairy tale to its end. This is to close a chapter I stubbornly wrote with my dreams and expectations.

Now, a new page awaits me. A tea soaked page too long waiting for a poetic beginning, for as long as I was figuring how to continue the stories of the current chapter. But when this new page dries up, a new chapter of dream will be plot.

I will have more spacebars between my words and a bigger font size to plot a less ambitious story for this new unnamed chapter.

I will go to sleep tonight and wake up to a new reality.

Good night to you, the dedicated pen of the current chapter. A pen of thoughts coated with sweat of anxiety and a final touch of a fine layer of courage.

This is one chapter that I will revisit for its happy moments. Ones that made me smile as I author and teared as I scribble.

I am always out there to satisfy my curious taste bud with the appropriate budget. I am glad to announce that Tao's Restaurant is the only eatery out there that can stuff me with a six course meal at a price of 20 SGD. Fusion was on the to eat list this weekend, going fusion is the ability to mix cuisines up at the wok and not embarrass each other at the table. Origins are best not debated I guess.

Serve up in a little hot pan is the bacon and mushroom gratin with a crispy thick toast as its crunchy companion. Whipped up the sticky gratin with your tea spoon and spread it across the toast and enjoy. You do not expect something so cheesy with bacon and mushroom lingering around your taste buds as a starter, right? At first course, this is sinfully great. With the lightly burnt top of the bread, you wont miss the brilliant fuse of fragrance of the cheese, bacon, mushroom and toast.

Fruit salad has cubes of apples, peaches, and corns compacted tightly, then topped with a generous amount of crab meat. The zesty apple was brilliant, goes very well with the occasional bites of sweet peach and the sprinkles of sauces on the plate for a spoonful of fruity adventure. Not forgetting the sandy crab meat that gives the extra punch for variety.

This is a story about a teapot with a cute teacup. But you should know this story was never about the tea. Actually, this is fish soup. There is a more chim name, but I really don't remember.

Fill the little cup up with the crystal clear fish soup, then slowly sip this savory tea from its rough tip. This is one great tea, the not overpowering fishy flavor paved way for the sweet taste of carrot and mushroom. All ingredient presence was definitely strong, this was truly enjoyable.

Then the award winning slow cooked ribs came. The best ribs I had was in Tony Romas and Astons, and those are dished with no awards. In Tony Romas, we enjoyed the the ribs by helding it in our hands and pinching the remaining meats from the bone with our teeth. But at Tao's, the only weapon is the knife. The easily detachable meat from the bone dipped with the garlic dominating sauce will impress you. This is really soft pork meat with a little effort of chewing with delightful plastered all over. The usual pork smell was present, but the sauce succesfully extinguishes it. It was a generous slab, and my capacity meter was in red zone.

Most people could not tell what this was, according to their food blog. But I shall stubbornly assume that I have decoded it, it is mashed sweet potatoes. Kfc have its lousy mash potatoes, while Tao's serves its innovative mashed sweet potatoes. It is a unique blend of butter fragrance and natural sweetness.

Cold apple rose tea, with real apple and rose okay. The usual bitterness of tea was absent, while the apple did all the sweet talking. I have to admit that I am still clueless about the rose. The art of infusing tea with fruits achieved natural sweetness for the health concious.

Creme brulee is a dessert I never tried before, the first I heard about it was in high school musical. Its a vanilla custard in a cup with a lightly torched surface. The crust was not fragile, letting every spoon of custard having a mini piece of crispy sugar crust to go with it. Let the crust and custard work it out, you will not regret choosing this over the other fancy dessert on the list. It did not has the eggy taste nor the vanilla's bitterness. Creme brulee was perfectly crafted, the right way for a six course meal's curtain call.

Its was very affordable for a flawless meal. No holes burnt, no taste buds disappoint.

Canister Number 1

Almost everyday of the year begins with an unwilling rise from bed and a meaningless chase after the bus. It then ends with an empty elevator ride and a glaring computer screen that puts me to sleep. These generic days without lasting memories in between come and go and usually does not embed an impact on us. We have these days in our life to get through an unexciting 365 days cycle, but some selected days have us in them instead to give us an impact for the course of our life.

That day was 12th June 2010, it was a Saturday.

We possibly had the most expensive salad of our life, accompanied by foie gras and toasted brioche. Not forgetting the two pots of tea and the cakes that stuffed us in the end. Followed by a sweet victory of a successful attempt on buying Plum Choya from the supermarket. Last but not least my unreliable photographic memory which led us to a long detour at Novena Square. "Yes, I am sorry for my self!"

The day did start and end like any other usual day, but the lasting memories in between left a different impact on me. Days like this are rare, and what it had done to me in the end is indeed rare too.

That day made me smile :)

the first steep

June 5th 2010, its written a Saturday on the calander, and also a time of the week where I am extra sensitive to boredom. The least of changes in the routine has been obvious to me not all day long but all year long.

Up in the morning, walk to the bakery, back to the macbook.

To the hawker centre for a takeaway lunch and back to the macbook.

And repeat as above but with dinner instead.

I try dining out for great meals once in a while, but you cant buy happiness through sea bass and foie gras. Although you walk out from the eatery with a smile of satisfaction that will not last as long as happiness does, which is a life time. But lets not forget about the right to brag that is ever lasting.

I am scratching my thoughts on how to make my weekend more eventful. Since that I am financially stretched to not patronize a french kitchen every weekend, I will create my own french kitchen. Go to the nearby supermart and grab a steak, and head to Culina at dempsey for Tetsuya's truffle salsa for an indulging DIY truffle butter. A block of truffle butter on top of of a slab sizzling steak could have been the fix, and the time spend cooking could burnt the mundane saturday night more effectively. Instead of lying on my bed typing about cooking up a storm, I rather do the real deal and put my macbook aside.

Hopefully happiness will be more accessible.

Maybe I should start doodling virtually again, I can treat this blog as a person, like an unresponsive human.

I am here to not rant about my doubts, but I can't help it.

"Can I?" Oops, I guess you know how the interface of blogger looks like and wanted to sneak a peak, I would not have mind but this is about you.

Its been 4 years, 1 month and 17 days since I had someone who can lean on my shoulder and it tells that we are not friends. Its been 4 years, 3 months and 22 days since I last ask a girl out, or the ancient term, "couple". And its 6 months ever since I gotten mature enough to not consider the girlfriend I had 4 years, 3 months and 22 days ago that lasted for 2 months and 22 days the real deal.

But 4 months and 19 days ago, I started talking to you. Me knowing how you do not approach people just made you even more unapproachable to me. But I notice the baby blue flask that you always carry around with you, and that tea bag label assured me that you are a tea lover. In that instance I knew that was a reliable conversation starter.

And its been 4 months and 19 days, I am doing quite badly.

Still counting.

It has been months since I last pen my fascination about foods, but for this post I shall not.

Thanks to those who drop by and left harmless and constructive comments. If you do not wish to electrocute your keyboard with your saliva, then you shall revisit my past. Now, I hope you do not electrocute your keyboard with your tears.

I could go on to ramble about school, but it might be a replication of your frustration. So I shall not.

Some photographs? Maybe not.

I wonder what goes through your mind as you look at undetachable arms and locking hands around you.

And then a music plays through your earphone that potentially determines how you feel.

While a happy music instructs me to smile, a sad one drives me to ponder.

And through the endless pots of frustrations, I still do not have a cup of conclusion. Adding

sachets of encouragement never helps while I sip on my doubts.

A story recently made me realize that a confession can be easily brewed.

But too bad, me the connoisseur shall bury that red letter under the tea leaves, and

restore canister of hopes back to the shelve. That pot of boiling confidence shall cool down

while I try to seek for another you.

Just like Paris

Just like the movies set in Paris, a couple of people sipping tea under the mild sun with the Eiffel Tower painting a beautiful backdrop. A waiter in dark slack and white top hugged by a black vest serves you tea, and then some pastries while you sit to a table under a gigantic umbrella. This humble cafe set up by a french lady in Bukit Timah never loose that touch. Instead of sitting with tables under giant umbrellas, you dine indoor where the air conditioner cools your food as you enthusiastically fire snapshots of the neatly decorated dishes.

I made my way through the closely arranged tables and chairs to hunt for a seat in this crowded cafe, and I am lucky. I always get the last table available, and then someone walks in and realize he needs to wait. He shall linger around the walkway to pressure a table to settle the bill as soon as they down that last piece of delightful pastry. Choupinette is a cozy cafe packed with wooden furniture dishing out delicacies with not a very friendly price.

I saw no locals in the whole cafe, mostly caucasian. I browse through the simple four page menu that looks like its done using Microsoft Word's word art overnight. I settled for a brunch set that consist of Eggs Royal accompanied by a cup of tea and a fruit juice.

The apple juice that have nothing to cheer about, it must be a Cold Storage packet drink in a fancy glass.

Took a few sips, and I am right. Its nothing special, just to sweeten your morning bland tongue.

Tea arrived sooner.

I have to admit ever since I been to TWG, I am paying more attention to teas. I held the hot pot while letting the string of lemon and ginger flavored tea to fill up the cup.

I tried to have a sniff first, but sadly there was non. Reality strikes back, "Andy, this is not TWG Tea." The lemony essence was lacking, no wonder I never felt the tickle at the sides of my tongue. The disturbing ginger which I dislike since young was not strongly present too. This tea is not a failure, but for the flavor it disappoints. A cup of decent tea it is, the lesson learned was to not compare this to TWG.

Egg Benedict is a dish I look up on the internet. That is if you are a curious cat like me to wiki it to know about the ways to cook an egg, there are too many.

At last, the main attraction was placed in front of me. Reviews floating around the internet are having sky high praises on this, and that made me very excited.

This plate has generous drips of hollandaise sauce over layers of great texture. Slices of smoked salmon cushioned comfortably in between a mixture of a soaked thick toast and a fragile poached egg. Accordingly, this are not market eggs but expensive eggs. But is the difference necessary enough to be mentioned?

Give those fragile eggs a poke and let the runny egg yolks roll out and interfere the hollandaise sauce. This achieved a nice combination, the silky egg yolk with the sourish lemon and butter sauce. Then dip it with the toast and smoked salmon, you shall let your taste bud savor the variety of tastes as it differentiates in your mouth. Luckily, the smoked salmon was not overpowering. While allowing enjoying the different type of texture and taste at one go, you will appreciate that you never substituted the salmon with the usual ham. If you did, that will be a different ball game. Now the disappointment of not getting the gentle tickle from the lemon and ginger tea is all right, because this was more satisfying. The ticklish hollandaise and fragrant smoked salmon is great. And this rich playground of flavors repeated it self for the consecutive bites.

Mrs Egg Royal, I am a fan.

Then I went up to the dessert counter for a dessert to clear my richly pampered palette.

Spot the obvious mickey.

I have to admit the rich dose of eggs benedict was awesome. The hollandaise had its generous amount drizzled across my plate and I finished it all, but I am still up for something lemon. Therefore I settled for this lemon meringue tart. I have no idea about the fillings but the title was the main puller.

I fiddled around the tart with my fork and learned that a lemon meringue tart has a base of pastry filled with a soft lemon curd filling and topped with whipped egg whites and sugar(meringue) hence the name of the dish. I assume the meringue are skillfully flamed lightly at the surface to give a delicate crisp brown burn.

At first bite, let the strong lemon stubbornly pinch you, while the fluffy meringue smooth out the difference between the crispy tart pastry and soft textured curd. But the lemon in this dessert was too much for me to take, half way through I wish I had someone to share this with. But I endured as the over powering lemon curd does its duty. Half a serving of the pleasure was enjoyable enough. But the goal of getting lemon to disturb my taste bud was accomplished.

If you were wondering what makes the mickey mouse's ear, it is the mini macarons. These are shaped to the size of a fifty sense coin. I told the waitress to give me the best two, hazelnut and peach that is. I tried very hard to not let the bad reviews I encounter online to interfere with my attempt of being a complete stranger to this macarons.

I took the hazelnut first, the round pillow like pastry had a pinch of hazelnut fragrance in it which was not sufficient to dominate the flavor it stands for. Sandwiched in between was chocolate ganache, a more chim term for Hershey chocolate syrup available from the supermarket shelf. But it is no doubt that chocolate and hazelnut makes a good combination, which saved this macaron from getting a big "F" label.

Next up is the peach. It was all right. This also had chocolate ganache in between, but I have to agree that peach and chocolate don't get along well in this experiment. Chocolates are still the best companion to any type of nuts, but only a few type of fruits can befriend it. If you are looking for great macarons, you can try TWG tea infused macarons or line up at Bakerzin for the 1$ per macaron offer.

One must know their way around this menu in order not to get disappointed by the attractive fancy french names crowned on this dishes. But I had an enjoyable lunch, especially the egg benedict that is prepared skillfully. The delightful dessert that concluded my meal was not bad too. But I am still uncertain about the excitements generated so far are enough to bring me back to Choupinette that soon.

Right now, you stare into that glaring screen of distraction, with an untouched minimized work window, and a cluttered desktop of conversations and sites. You can't blame your self because you were equally distracted all this while. If you were to punish your self, would you?

Week four, where foul language plays accompaniment to verbal frustration. And that red bull as a delusional energy source. Not forgetting those potential addiction which lies shallow within your clustered desktop to complete the equation of procrastination.

I can hear a voice, telling me to halt for a second. I have not touch my draft since its amazing two hundred words accomplishment. A thousand three hundred more to go, I will be back if I reach another enlightenment of four hundred words.

I became braver to dine.

An aquarium structure sits majestically at the more quiet upper layer of Orchard Ion, where big brand fashion boutiques are in sight, no wonder this big brand tea company deserve a spot here too.

TWG Tea Salon and Boutique, an unknown brand to me three weeks ago, a place I would love to go back tomorrow.

If money does fall from the sky, I would have ordered the Yellow Gold Tea Buds.

I step into this shop three weeks ago to buy two pieces of macaroons.

By the next week, I was there buying a present for my grandmother. And today, I went in giving an excuse to my self that I wanted to taste the tea I bought, but the real reason is as follow. I wanted to try the tea, have a taste of their finger sandwiches, and their best seller "Singapore Surprise" which I will surprise you later.

By ordering it individually, it will burden me with the total cost of my meals from Monday to Friday, so I decided to go during the 3pm to 6pm interval, where my to-eat-list of food comes in a set plastered with a cheaper price which makes me feel better. So, that's how you outsmart the menu. Go for the set meal! If the set meal exist that's it.

While waiting in the human chain, I saw my new classmate, which I never say "Hi" to, oops. I was seated fast, because I was alone. A table for one is easier to find, compare to a table for five for a group of aunties in front of me. And to my realization that most of the tables are set up for two, and a table for more than two is only achievable by joining tables the kopitiam style and grabbing the chair opposing me politely and squeeze it into the other table to make a table for five.

Okay, I am not here to bore you with my fascination.

This is the boutique area where a handful of good looking french men splurge their knowledge about tea on an amateur customer like me. Though non are in sight in this picture.

And the salon area, where your lips are inseparable from the tip of the cup, sipping the pumping hot tea and constantly serviced by a group of smartly dressed men with smiling faces as their pleasant cover.

I sat down and blinked through the extensive tea list. There are 400+ teas all together, ranging from 6 SGD per pot to wallet-boomz effect price.

I settled for the afternoon tea set called Chic.

- Chicken with Comptoir des Indes Tea infused cream fraiche
- Smoked salmon with Mascarpone and chives
- Green asparagus and whipped cream sprinkled with chives

- A choice of 2 homemade scones or muffins served with TWG Tea jelly and whipped cream or 1 patisserie from our trolley

The tea came first.

This special looking pot is meticulously constructed with the suitable materials to secure the temperature of the tea. The tea will diligently stay warm even after an hour.

I took a sip of my grandmother's to be birthday present, Green tea with ripe fruits. The fragrance of the ripe fruits triggered my senses, and I thought this was gonna be promising. But oh my, the pinch of tea's bitterness was there. But after resisting my temptation of sugar addition, it was lovely. The required sweetness was perfect to not remind you that you are sipping on tea. This is not any ordinary sugar from the kopitiam for your coffee.

In contrary to lipton tea where you can add the whole can of milk. Crystalized sugar is offered to satisfy the sweet tongue, and to protect the tea's taste from alteration. Adding milk like the uncle who runs the tea stall is a big no no too.

After a few torturing sips for the lip, the tiny sandwiches arrived.

I settled with the smoked salmon - my favorite, chicken - recommendation from waiter and foie gras - my excitement. And the menu never mention about this.

Green salad with a clown nose sized cherry tomato tossed with house vinaigrette, which I believe is also tea infused type of dressing.

For the smoked salmon, the bread are toasted lightly which achieved a delicate nutty crust on its surface. Smoked salmon has moist content, but the moisture is controlled to ensure the bread stays crispy.

I grab the chicken next, it was all right. No hard rock texture, very pleasant and doesn't taste like rotten chicken as I thought.

As a stranger to foie gras, on the first bite, I was blew away instantly. By the third bite, I wished all 3 sandwiches was foie gras. The great soft texture eases the melting in your mouth along with the fragile nutty crusted bread. What a great taste for a small piece of controversial meat. The salad tasted okay too, which plays second fiddle to this plate of minis.

Then my surprise, "This is it" I whispered to my self as the waiter place this in front of me.

The Singapore Surprise, I took a bite first only to realize I need to take a picture. The excitement grew, this is must try in TWG, I have seen good reviews about it, and I am pretty confident that the truth dont lie.

This jewel has a thin layer of torched caramelized sugar on top, berries cushioned within a custardy vanilla bourbourne tea infused mouse and the bottom layer of something mysteriously crispy. The texture of different layers vary, which might be a turn off. But the real surprise is that everything melts, the strong sense of vanilla explodes, and the diabetic potential of this masterpiece rise instantly. The different layers disintegrated just right, the custardy texture was major. This worth every penny you need to fork out. Its also listed as one of the most expensive cake in Singapore on soshiok.com

Just stare, picture speaks better than my long winded explanation.

While calming my excitement in this up class salon by sipping the best tea and being surprised, my butt was nailed to the chair for one solid hour mumbling away on the paper for my first draft of creative writing. A very productive afternoon tea session for me, while other tables was productively chatting, and a group of tai tai surrounded by an army of shopping bags gossiping.

You will never miss a glimpse of this shiny weapon for a cup of good tea at every table. And a few glass teapots are in sight too.

Keep a look out for this.

This is the first piece of the puzzle to a great tea experience. The puzzle will never be completed, because the crave for TWG tea will strike you back. It might not be the tea for non tea lovers, but the sinful pastries have a big potential to cling on to your cravings.

I walked out of this aquarium with a smile, but there was a bucket of satisfaction buried deep in me. "I will see you soon" I told to the friendly waiters who thanked me for coming.

The art of serving tea is delicately crafted here. The selection of tea leaves are chose from a handful of tea harvester world wide, to the type of pots to keep your tea warm as you chat away, or in my case as I scribbled. The education on tea was a bonus for me.

Serving tea is easy, but to serve the best tea is a delicately planned process.

I was never wrong about the lonely weekend.

I will stay in for breakfast and stuff my self with an oat bar. A 1.80 lunch of rice and two vegetables opposite my HDB. And a dinner with friends, if they comply or time is friendly to me.

The Saturday morning sun will shine on my three months unwashed bed sheet from this only window in my rented room, at least that's when I will wake up and drag my self to the toilet. And a disciplined weekend begins. Today is the first weekend where I worked on my assignments, compare to the usual where I surf the web unproductively.

It felt good, at least I know I don't need to rush ten journal entries in one shot in the wee hours of the submission deadline.

For the Saturday night dinner, I usually go to the central for some wallet damage worthy food, like Manpuku Gourmet Food Town. I make it a point to go there once a week, normally a Saturday night to satisfy my pallet with food that I want, not just food that I need of the week.

For a Sunday lunch, I will travel far to town. Food republic Nasi Lemak is my favourite. Or I shall explore for something else tomorrow.

My new classmates seems segregated still. With each of the four corners of the classroom belonging to a certain class, except the front wall belongs to the lecturer and his huge projection screen. I guess the ice will melt soon as us the particle disintegrate. With us now saying hi and bye when class ends to classmate that we dont not know their names is a good start I guess. It wont be impossible to add a few more words after that to spark a conversation.

I have know some wonderful people for a good six month, at least it makes school more meaningful in its non educational value. I am just waiting for that moment to happen in this class, are my other classmates waiting too?

But I still think the lonely weekends are here to stay, bleh.

It has been a dull 16 days sitting in front of my VAIO, staring into the glaring screen and trying to stumble upon something interesting in between the layers of websites and clusters of annoying pop up ads.

16 days away from a tiny island full of new made but true friends who will never keep my intentional or unintentional mistakes in debt and always treat me better. There are a friendly bunch and I do admit I must learn how to preserve these wonderful friendship before it set sail into a storm of loose bonds and becoming people I knew like the situation which I dread in Malaysia.

It feels lighter on the brain, nerve and shoulder to be away from the battlefield, a healthy battlefield. In contrary to my heart and my ever conscious and sensitive emotions which will always be heavy. My playful emotions will never fail to bring my thoughts to the next level of depression when I will reflect on the people and friends here at home, the difference which grew larger and the fact that I am not very visible to them anymore.

I always wonder what is so great about initiation. Does it matter who ask who out first? Or who talk to who first? Fill in the blanks of the who and what to fit your situation. It really got me thinking deeply whether does this matter worth much of my depress self or not. I have been living in a stubborn illusion, I always believe people who talk to me first, or ask me out first means they care and remember me, if they doesn't, means they don't. Feel free to correct my stubbornness. If there was an outing and I wasn't invited, I will feel that I am forgotten. I am sure any other person feels the same, but is there anything we can do about it? But after meeting people, its definitely harder to keep them, what more when one side feels left out? Its such a disappointment.

If we seems invincible, unwanted or just unimportant to our circle of friends? Is it time address your self that you are facing a big trouble like the recession? I stubbornly concluded that its up to my third eye, my thoughts. We will have the usual left out and disappointment playing a fool on us. But at the same time I realize that I have drifted so far from them. Is either I patch it up or continue to rant about it. At the same time to judge for my self whether do they really remember me? This is very judgmental actually, which will lead narrow minded people to misunderstandings.

It was on my 18th birthday and it was great materialistically with an Iphone. But the other wise, the things you do with your friends, for example a surprise party, or going out for a simple meal with a little cake and birthday song, or a giant card full of heart written contents. Those was missing from my 18th birthday, so it was on my 17th the last year.

I may sound selfish for expecting such an affair, but even a little birthday cake by my friends with the candles not totaled up to 18 is memorable enough. But I believe being busy is always the best reason in defense, even your closest ones will make good use of that too. Because its a reason you can't blame them on and one of the best reason to get away with.

I wonder who really still keep me in their heart and mind. Because time and distance is slowly making me a hi-bye friend.

I do apologize for the fluctuated frequency of the updates on this blog so I believe frequent readers have gone somewhere else.

But there's no point of me repeating my apologizes at almost every blog post therefore I guess you get the idea that this blog will not be flooded with pictures like it used to and also nonsensical scribbles and rants about you.

People who know me, know that I am at Singapore for good. And people who have no idea, you know now.

And reading back at the preserved archive of this blog, I have not been saying much about this place.

Lots has happened, the struggle and the pride shares its fair amount on the weighing scale. I have gone through not too much of a dramatic struggle nor it was a breeze in executing assignments as procrastination is an eternal habit. So the last few hours are plus point in boosting my enthusiasm. But last minute work are a big no no, your final product not only speak for your talent, it also speaks for your effort. You can never lie to lecturers who are armed with a large amount of experiences.

And not to mention how a classroom it self stimulates a battlefield with individual army with their own talent, polishing their sword and armory to outshine you. You might be inspired to do better, or be extremely demoralize or maybe you could not care less.

Besides the healthy competition, there is more than that. I came in contact with all variety of people. Just great to not elaborate further, human meet human, whats so special you want to know? Met a handful of awesome people, and my high school perception about people can be erased immediately in a count of three.

Those aside, I still have yet to bum into you.

Every time I make a trip down to town, I keep a small hope to my self that there is a possibility.

I know we will bum into each other one day.

The first month of Moving Images has just ended, and that means 2 out of countless modules have been done!

Ideation and Photography!

I expect myself to do well in photography due to my foundation but I guess it was otherwise. Though ideation is uber stressful with 7 assignments, its still the funnest thing ever and you can see ordinary classmates having extraordinary ideas. Photography was blant at first because our eyes was ordinary but after a few shoots and critique from both lecturer and class, everyone put it off in the end with our final images now on display in school!

Uriah said this kid looks like he had found nirvana.

Attempt at Getting Back

It's been eons since I blog, due to the hectic schedule!

NS was fun though its a very big laughing stock to Malaysians and other country who has military version of national service like Singapore.

Which government will name all NS-men after our national car, they call us "wira" in camp.

And eating 6 times a day will not fulfill anyone's assumption of loosing weight when you go for national service. But one thing really suck, it's the hair! I am getting quite used to it now!

I will post up the pictures soon!

I left NS on the 13th and reached singapore on the night it self, and super duper tired la!

Next morning went for orientation, it's quite weird at first but i adapted to it well and it was fun over all! And we sleep real late at night! 4am!

School's starting tomorrow, I saw my timetable and I really don't get a single thing, don't even understand it! Too much code and short forms!

Okay, skip that.

I am beginning to think that "The Reader" is one of the most beautiful artistic movie ever but its definitely wasn't analytical to me. Only SI ON was showing his hidden talent of deciphering hidden pixels of the movie while I knew I have a rather long route to go.

While I admired his analysis, I do admired its cinematography. It changes my perception about cinematography alot.

I thought extraordinary cinematography are like those in independent directed film. Where every frame is paused has its potential to be an award winning photograph. Some eyes in the industry are just that great.

Films that have great cinematography and potential of winning the most award winning photograph are those done by Michael Bay's eye. Like transformer. I thought only extremely rectangular ratio movie will look cool, or colour corrected to its peak will be nice too.

But when I look at "The Reader", it changed. It doesnt matter, it can be the usual cinematic ratio of 16:9 and not something you cropped, it not need to be colour corrected to be eye catching or to make colour more lunatic.

In my opinion, the cinematography in "The Reader" has its own genre, its called realist. In my opinion i called it realistic, but maybe professional has its definite terms. The reason its cinematography is named realistic because every frame is just how we see it.

For example, the way they shoot her taking of her shoe, its just like how you look to a person next to you taking of their shoe. Get the drift? Its not artistically and meticulously constructed, its just simply yet cool.

SOLO SINGAPORE

0600 - Woke up, I guess I was able to due to the routine I had in NS.

0745 - Departed for Singapore via First Coach, the bus was empty. only 7 people including me. but the seats are more curvy and have a softer head rest. Because it is a new bus, but it does not have the tv yet. So I was bored!

1245 - Reached Singapore, and got a little confused with my self printed map from google maps. I even have the map which i can see the real buildings from the top. Just in case =(

1300 - Found the MRT station! Was so early because the enrollment package collection time is 3 pm at my polytechnic. Took the MRT to chinatown (Singapore's version is cleaner and people cross the road by the traffic light ) And that's where the solo-venture began. I went to chinatown to buy the overrated Lim Chee Guan BAK KWA. If you dont know, is those BBQ pork slices you get during CNY. 21 Singapore Dollar for 500G, GASP! Only have 10 pieces.

1330 - Was still free, took the MRT to Vivocity. Wandered around the skydeck, which is very empty on a weekday. And very very hot! Then had carl's junior for lunch. The burger was so awesome. It has two beef patties, onion rings and bacons! But the price was awesome too, 9.10 Singapore Dollar!

14 30 - Took the MRT to the nearest station to my polytechnic, MRT ride was around half an hour. And its not that near after all. A killing 30-40 minutes walk. CAN CRY.

1600 - Reached Temasek Polytechnic. WEEE! Collect enrollment package and read through. Looks like I have two orientations and I only get to attend NS from the 8th to 13th April only compare to the desired length of a week. So got eaten up for a while. HAIH, CRIES MORE. HAHA.

17 30 - Took a cab to the MRT station, I rather pay 6.50 Singapore Dollar than walking for 30-45 minutes which will make me miss my 6.45 bus.

1815 - MRT was fast, reached the station kinda early. Had no time for a heavy dinner so went to a mini mart to bought some bun and green tea. HAH.

1845 - Departed! And all the way back I was thinking how am I gonna attend NS as desired due to the pack schedule. Haih, i might not be able to attend for a week, but i should appreciate the fact that I get to attend it for a few days before I depart for REAL to Singapore.

HAIH.

I FEEL SO RELIEVE.

My application document was sent to the correct office which is the front desk, documents to the international student office is for another type of admission exercise. SO YIPPEE!

And about FedEx, my uncle has called FedEx up and they had confirmed that my document reached on Monday which is the deadline, it must be a technical error with the FedEx tracking system on the website which I believe its updated wrongly.

SO, thank you GOD.

I finally can go NS in a peaceful state of mind and lets hope I will be able to make it to Singapore!

Well, got this dulan feeling. Which is normal among everyone during the starting of NS. So yeah, I hope I can over come it and adapt to it.

I just realized I did another stupid mistake for my application.

The letter was sent to the wrong office.

It was supposed to be sent to the International Student Office,
But mine was sent to the Admission Office.

OMG, SLAP ME.

I SUCK.

And this was my mom's reply, "Good, its time to teach you to be more careful in life. Since you have the "tidak apa" attitude.

So? Looks like You are gonna see me completing 3 months of NS instead of the supposed 2 weeks and coming back with a bald head, and being aimless for the rest of the year and another 3 months during 2010. Everyone will be in college, while I will be bumming around aimlessly for 9 months?

And my mom say, I should be lucky if I get accepted.

As you all know, the ever so great FedEx delivered my supporting application document to Singapore late by a day of the application deadline. Though the application through online is done on friday it self, but photocopies of the relevant documents like my not so nice result slip, identification card (NRIC), pass port and any cert you want to show off (though not stated to send) LOL. Those need to be at the polytechnic of my first choice by Monday. 16th March 2009. But it reached today, 17th March 2009.

Some say, Its okay, the online application is completed already what.

Some say, Aiya, they should understand the situation about this whole postal thing.

Some say, Why like that wan?

Some say, Nothing *stones at me*

Some say, So how?!?!

And I say, Looks like I am not going after all? Or maybe they should see that I sent the documents on the 13th March and it took FedEx too long, and at least try to understand the situation.

I hope it all turns out good!

Just went to Agro Bank to open the bank account, and the whole process took so so so long, 2 HOURS. CRAZY A!

But met Liza, Haziq and Chee Hui there, so talking about how unready of us to attend NS kills time.

And FedEx, why did you deliver my application document a day later than the deadline?!?!

Damn, I hope it all turns out good.

At least if all goes well, I will be going NS for the least of 2 weeks.

GAH. Lets hope its 2 weeks then, and a big "URGH" to FedEx.

I just received a joke, the new apple ipod shuffle 3rd generation. The biggest joke so far.

like wow, how small can it be.

first with the thinnest macbook and notebook which lack of impressive technical specifications.

and now, the smallest ipod touch with the most outstanding feature.

its so so small, man. smaller than a crayon, a size of a thumbdribe. maybe close to a size of a standard key. and damn you, this is not a joke yet.

its darn sleek, oh wait. where are the buttons? first button less ipod ever? woohoo, voice activation? shaking the ipod to change song? choose ur song by just saying the song name? HMMMM.

not really, just a switch and with only 3 functions. OFF, SHUFFLE, NOT SHUFFLE.

WOW!

Where's the play, stop, forward, rewind button?

apple has adopt the handphone handsfree concept i guess. with a component half way running in between the wires. but, there's only 3 buttons. volume up, volume down, and another button at the center.

and also doubted as the first ipod that talks to you.

so here's how it goes.
tap the center button once to play.
tap it twice to forward to next song.
OOPS, sorry u cant go backwards. so you gotta go through one big cycle to go back to the song you were listening at first.
and if you are blur about the song title about what you are listening to, hold the center button, and a gay voice will announce the song title and artist.

syncing ur ipod with a mac will make ur ipod shuffle have a gay voice.

syncing it with pc will make ur ipod shuffle have a gayer voice. go google the guided tour video and listen. damn, it will turn gay guys on.

what about switching playlist? SIMPLE.

hold the center button long enough till u hear a beep. but before a beep the gay voice will once again announce the song you are listening too. then the gay voice will announce the playlist name one by one, when you hear your desired playlist, tap the center button once.

WOW, what if I have a hundreds of playlist? OMG, time to enjoy hearing a mysterious gay voice.

I wish apple will have an update where you can change your preference on the voiceover, instead of gay voice, we can change it to a seductive woman's voice like those on the LRT?

Hey friends, people that I've never talked before or laid eyes on before, as long as you are a SPM candidate for 2008, this is meticulously penned for you.

We might have dreaded this auspicious day badly, we might sense a munch of reality in this few hours as the white slip comes to our finger and rest in our palms and will be making its way to many institutions in the world to grant you access into tertiary education.

Lets not be contempt with fear, we all shall not be afraid. Why be afraid? Because that will only make you plant this seed of fear in you till the definite moment of truth-tomorrow.

Lets not rekindle continuous emotions which are injected with regret and disappointment, because from this moment till tomorrow, you will be filled with regrets and a sinking heart which is uncomfortable.

Lets just be happy and comfortable at least, after all being all cranky about it will not do good either. The inks has made its mark on the thin sheet of paper, and you can't do anything to do anything about it.

Inks are not reversible, so does our past action.

Be regret now but at least you can substitute it with happiness.

But lets not bet our fluctuating emotions into the pot over a substance that is not reversible.

Being too tense up or tangled up in a triangle of emotions can't change anything.

It's the fact, anything can't change anything.

We gave all the knowledge we have, we used all the inks we had, we stressed a hell out of our wrist and hand, we were stuck in a pin drop silent environment to achieve an achievement in life, and now we know we have done our best.

stop eating me

lots of issues have been eating me up lately. OMG.

first spm results, the current hot line on phone/msn/face to face conversation is "see you on thursday!"

what if my L1R4 aggregate is more than 10? I know my course requirement point is 18, but I aim for 10. What is L1R4 aggregate? Its the Singapore O lvl (SPM) scoring system.

L1R4 is the total point of 5 particular paper among all the paper you took for exam. L for language paper, R for relevant papers. Which is English (L), A Maths (R), A Science (R), and other 2 best subjects. ( example, Art (R) and Moral (R) ) So now you know why is L1R4.

And the point is represent by the number after the grade, A1, A2, B3 and so on.

So total up the sum of your score for the 5 subject and see how less your numerical value is. The lesser, the better and of course if you get 5 points, even better. Means the 5 subject you score A1 for each.

I don't care about the number of As really, I just need a 10 pt L1R4 aggregate man. Which is at least A2 for each and every subject listed in the L1R4.

I am freaking out now.

And the fact that I might be going to NS, but the letter have not arrive yet. That important piece of document determines alot, either I go or I don't go. HAIH.

It's a movie, titled "bunga raya emily" if the film will be subtitled by the Media Cencorship Authority of Malaysia. Luckily, no such embarassment like "tiga orang labah labah" and "lusa".

-Matthew did not have an on screen character name because a scene went wrong with the whole cast calling him Matthew, his supposed name is Aidan.

-The opening scene with the "step by step" piano book is a tribute to the previous appreciation night movie "secret". The first scene of the movie also has that book, but a green one held by Wei Shen.

-The opening score during the movie is also the opening score used for "The Holiday" by Nancy Meyers. Score composed by Hanz Zimmer.

-The whole white clothe wore by Emily Hibisus played by Ju Yinn was infact a white single size bed sheet.

-Lots of safety pins and even staplers were used to seal the white clothe around Ju Yinn so that it wont be a messy affair.

-The song played during the credit is the theme song of Disney Channel Live Action Series, Cory In The House, which is the director/editor's first favourite disney channel live action series.

-Whole of Emily Hibiscus was shot during the SPM period where examination was going on, and the shooting was told to be shut and only continue after examinations for the day are over =(

-The 21st Century Prefects animation at the beginning is a parody and a direct photocopy of the current 20th Century Fox animation. The whole animation took about 16 hours to render. (reconstruct the model virtually and the movement of the camera around the monument in a graphic 3D software)

- During the introductin titles in the Prefects Room where the cast names appear as it move from one table to another table. Those are the actual sitting arrangement of the bods during their meeting.

-Emily Hibiscus has only been viewed by audience once till now since its release during its premier night.

driving has beeen a B.

I F hate it when it comes to the slope.

I have no problem aligning the car properly but the coming down part, F.

F, F, F, F.

After all, can't blame. It was my first taste of driving, So F it again.

My teacher is loud, but he will always cover up claiming that he is not angry and just being loud. F that la.

Expecting me to do it perfectly by the third time all though the previous two attempt wasn't smooth either, F LA.

He say I "oh" too many times after and after again when I discovered my mistake. And when the next attempt, I discovered another mistake, I "oh" again. Then he say I "oh-ing" for nothing cause I cant make it through. OH F IT LA!

Then, it started to get better, but still. F LA! URGH!

Gosh, let go the clutch untill the whole car vibrate while pressing the gas. But how the hell when I know the car is vibrating when its F-ing vibrating all the time?

Maybe I am not a car's best friend, should rely on public transport.

But heck, I am gonna keep trying. I still have the parking and 3 point to learn.

And as soon as I pass, my driving skill will expire when I am enjoying the efficient MRT and buses in Singapore.

time travelling so far..

In a week time, you are gonna determine if I will be able to lift up my dream and not blend in with the common crowd of pre-u souls.

With a friction of my thumb on the slip, it will send a message to my mind.

It's either, you procrastinate and you did well, or your addiction bought you to well deserved justice.

The scenario is either dreams do come true, or dreams are meant to be crushed in your own fist right in front of your innocent futuristic visioned pair of eyes. And all is only determined by an assessment and its result on a piece of thin and slightly larger than palm paper with parallel punched hole running on each side. And watermark of Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia beneath your string of grades.

Well said, but this are my dreams. To be able to get across to the causeway and enroll in the island republic most highly praised respected and award winning design school which is the main attraction and forte of the polytechnic. And what not, to be lucky enough to see all my foreign yet close to my heart friends again, yes, i am talking about you, the OBML people.

Dream, dream and dream some more.

I admit my dreams during my oral presentation was big headed, chuah said it was full with dream. But dreams are possible, but i don't dream about those in my sleep. Its my endless motivation during the day light. It drive me to watch more movies, learn its cinematography, and certain technic. It make me spend more time on youtube surfing for quality moving images where I humbly learn, relearn and unlearn from.

After spending a few days with the computer, I have completed Need For Speed Undercover!

And it was very painful to tolerate with a poor running of the whole game due to the fact that the vaio processor doesn't reach the original sky high requirement. But it was decent enough to let me complete the whole game with a fair bit of suffering. So, yeehaa!

Okay, so here is my review.

The game's plot is not bad, pretty okay.

And the aim of the whole career in the gameplay is not very specific which is very very good.

Compared to nfs:most wanted which is just winning races and emerge to the number 1 most wanted driver, or nfs:carbon which is taking down racing gangs by winning races and gaining territory. The plot is one of it kind, with some surprises and some twist. And I will not reveal much so that i won't spoil the excitement of shu lyn. HAHA.

Police are much crazier, with a faster "busted" meter. And porshe as police cars? Thats not a problem to evade if you are driving a car better than a porshe. And the SUV are much more fierce compare to last time.

And if you watse time fooling around in the "open world", police will come after you in a blink.

And this time there's no drift and drag races like the old nfs, no idea why.

And here are the cars i used.
Lotus Elise, Chevrolet Camaro, Audi TT, Toyota Supra and Chevrolet Corvette.

But the last game that determines wheter you completed the whole career mode 100% was surprisingly easy, won in a split second and have no idea how i send the car flying into thick air and crashed.

Overall, its an easy game. Play it for pure fun but not for adrenaline or suspence.

And the best thing is that I can only play it on my vaio cause of its graphic card. My PC is helpless. And there comes the time where i need to remind my sister that the vaio is not her's! DAMN.

I have not cooked for a long time, I thought I would not cook forever since I choose the route to become a director instead of my used to be dream ambition which is a chef.

My attempt today was the cheese baked rice.

I followed the recipe a little, and ended up all right.

The most consuming part of cheese baked rice is the time it must be in the oven.

Preparation is pretty fast. I just sauteed the onion, sausage and mushrooms and mixed with the rice. Lay them on the tray with alternating layer of cheese and rice. and lastly pour the milk up half way the tray.

Put in the oven, and slowly slowly wait, it was exciting. I used a little oven so it took around 20 minutes with a temperature of 230 degree C.

The end result you wonder? Very rich and quite fragrant. Mom say i should have put thyme or oregano to bring out the fragrants, but looks like recipes nowadays just tell you half the story, doesn't it? HAHA.

oh yea, on a side note. while cooking with jing yu the other saturday, i learned that mash potatoes must have some diced raw red onions in it, and the verdict? its FANTASTIC =)

Its 0133am, abit passed midnight, and the little start to a morning.

If I could just rant, I would have. It would had allow me to sleep better.

I've been tossing to my right looking at the wall and tossing to the left looking at my phone.

Still remember those days where it will be vibrating very frequently with your messages.

Well, it's quiet now.

Indulging my self with the radio when the laptop isn't around.

Ranting to my inner self when there's no one.

Mom is going out very often leaving me at home alone, surfing through Hbo, Cinemax, and Smv isn't helping either.

Sappy Love or Emo songs are abusive drugs when you listen to it in a long run.

Listen it for a weeks and you are stuck, then you switch songs, But when you are down, the songs haunt you back.

It's very mundane when there isn't you, why do I only realize after you are magically gone?

Oh wait, isn't that what "realize" is, knowing how hard the stab is when the knife is took off? Or when rebellious dettol comes to the so called rescue which bites you and make you scream?

And I thought I will be a happy jerk after everything was over, so well I thought.

took my undang yesterday, AND I FAILED.

and waited for one and a half hour for my second attempt with a fee of rm30, and this time, OMG.

42/50, just passed. On the dot, and feeling all so yippee about it I had to walk back all the way from subang square to ss18. My legs got so worn out.

Today was the amali course, and as usual, malaysia timing. Started so late that i slept first. HAHA.

Then I gotta drive around, and my engine died 5 times!

twice in a row when i first started, once before i went up the slope another twice in a row while i waited for some guy to cross the road. My driving is hopeless already. I release the clutch too early, but i guess it's my humongous shoe with a thick sole. Just can't feel it at all.

The laptop is going back to the office tomorrow, NO! can't update this blog that often, erm well not like it's very often also. Gotta wait till my home PC is repaired. But i rather have an IMAC! and run on bootcamp with xp like what tiffany does, but whats the point having an IMAC then?

30th January, though it is the fifth day of CNY, its like the second day of CNY to me because that's my first cny day spend in Malaysia since the rest was in the land of Thai, Thailand. KAY LAME ENOUGH.

And you have thought i went visiting like crazy? NO. I went, but I was pestering my dad to speed it up so that I could make it in time for Jing Yu's open house. HAHA. And ended up an hour late =.=

The food was good, gah, I wish I was a goodcook too but too bad my skills have deteorated like crazy since i fell in love with the computer and is superbly lazy to cook and always rely on my maid and mom's food. HAHA. I love the pasta so much manx.

And then we had a genting/macau/las vegas session. Playing games from poker which i lost like shit and gave all my money to Katherine. HAHA. And also blackjack which i was quite lucky lo. And the game called in-between where my luck was in full action! won the last port and was extremely happy!

Then everyone went back except me and chee hui. Watched Gossip Girl, love the camera direction man. Then camwhored a little! YEA, time was running out!

why i rewalked my memory lane

I don't know what makes today, or what happened till today makes anything.

I shut my eye lids and faced the mirror, i saw my reflection, internally.

I remembered my first of everything, from my first plane ride to my first love, her.

yeap, that's her. with me looking rather retarded =D

I remembered our first long phone call, yes i can still recall the date. 31st August 2005.

I remembered our first never ending msn conversation window, which remained as a saved file on my computer till today.

I rekindled the message of my confession too, the message is gone but the phone used is still with me though.

I remembered everything that we did together, from day one.

But one thing I will laugh about my self is me being a kid with a raw mind about this matter called L.O.V.E.

I thought i knew every single thing till my friends called me a doctor since I give very long wounded yet effective and plausible advice to my friends when they are in a heartbreak crisis. But I learned that from memorable lines from movies and also the "xxx" section in Star Two every Wednesday. It used to be called "bring it to big bro" before a more extreme name such as "xxx" was given.

I thought crying would solve everything, and nope, it proved me wrong as it is the oil for the fire.

I thought blabbering every detail out publicly will make a difference, but once again the order of nature proved me wrong. People just said "awww" but there's nothing they could do.

I thought being a nonsense to my mother will make her understands me, but in return, she did something beyond anyone with a brutal heart could had done.

And yet, that is the main factor of the fatality and the occurrence of a heart wrecking incident, and this also marks the point where i needed to grow up and be more mature and not act like I know everything.

But without all that as stated above, I would have been someone who still believes in a tale, a fairy tale. Reading back, I sounds so naive.

And thus, I entered a state of depression and migrated to a mood which is called EMO. Frequent mood swings, vulgar words. And I thought people would have understand my situation and give and take, but no it did not happened. Because I realized that I must be the one to control my self and not exposed my weakness and anger which will only cause people to dislike you and what not.

One thing that I never expected was to be friends again, really close friends.

I always thought after all this ended, the common thing is for both side to ignore each other, look down or up when passing by, try to act like you are talking to the person beside you when she or he passes by, or worst come to worst, you will hate each other, and it did happened to me.

I didn't know how it happened, and more precisely how can it even happen?

Not to forget we were still consider kids that time, HAHA.

But when you know you get to befriend again with some you loved, hated, fought, scolded again, you will look up and shout in appreciation "it's a miracle". And what not being able to talk endlessly like those times?

Who says when both people break up they cant be friends? I think we had proved that statement wrong.

I feel so thankful for everything that happened till today which made me grow, thought I still have a long way to go. Which have changed me and reminds me that the sky is the limit and we must never limit our self in this sort of matter at all.

Now, I believe in possibilities and not impossibilities.

Just look at us two, its just great to be where we are today and not to look back at our history.

While i was in singapore last week, i realized they are quite different.

Besides their no nonsense government unlike ours, the too good MRT, and super spotless city, there is more which i think can be a comparison point.

Carparking in Singapore is like...finding gold.

-Uncle Andrew(Joel's Uncle) gotta wait like half an hour just for a car to vacant a lot, and I think tiong bahru plaza have the smallest carpark for a shopping center.

The sakae sushi que there is like the que at the immigration department in Malaysia.

-People love sakae sushi there. Sakae Sushi there have long que. Here? No, not short que. Its NO QUE.

Singapore government stress alot on job opportunities.

-Never fear of retrenchment, the singapore immigration checkpoint have the most lanes than any immigration checkpoint that I have ever seen.

the bus trip was awesome, but i still prefer aeroline.

i guess that the seat have better curve but there's no personal tv on aeroline!

went to ngee ann polytechnic and i don't feel right when I was in there.

somehow i don't feel like i belong there.

i know i am a right brainer,therefore i analyse stuff based on emotions and instincts.

but its really a super technical course though, and I am unsure wheter am I even ready for such a big challenge or not.

The caucasian lecturer at the booth was okay though,only answering question and not much of additional information.

Am going to temasek polytechnic tomorrow .its known for their art and design school and their video course is under the design school. HMMMM.

The course focus on the out look and focuses on the conceptualize part of film which is my weakness. OH WELL,few more months to decide the pathway.

but an ex student from temasek polytechnic told me this,

YOU CAN ALWAYS HIRE SOMEONE ELSE TO HOLD THE CAMERA FOR YOU.

so,its like creativity and ideas is your own, and you can always leave the technical part of film to someone else.

so she abandoned this birthday present and i am having it now.
Its super brand new, apple changed it to a brand new one for us whenever we had problem and sent it for repair.

Where we would chat non stop on msn,
bump into each other at the school corridor and simply catching up.
or a simple text message which always made me smile.

Where I snap tons of portraits of you when we were by the beach,
giving the excuse that I just wanted to practice my photography.
But the fact was to capture your priceless smile and expression.

But things got awry too,
I told my self not to look back.
But i was stubborn enough to take a glimpse.
And I saw you having him.

I cant afford to be depress over you.

I had my last glimpse at your pictures.
I had my last glimpse at our pictures too.
I knew I had to, those were the tools to rekindle my sadness.

Then, I flip it face down one by one.
I can't afford to look anymore.

A "HI" seems to be the hardest word to type.

it ends tonight, IT ENDS TONIGHT.

when 2008 turns to 2009,

where you grow older again.

2008 was a rather challenging but still a sucky one though.

But this is the year where i really grow, appreciate people more, understand people more, and learn to love a person the way its supposed to be.

My resolutions for 2008 was pretty screwed up, but i did manage to accomplish a few.

I found what I love to do and it's not a job, I found out what I am passionate about-FILMMAKING

I took up a new hobby and did quite well on it-PHOTOGRAPHY

I learned to love this bunch of people more-5 GAMMA

I finally know who are the ones that will stick with me through thicks and thins-YOU KNOW WHO YOU GUYS ARE

I corrected what i thoughy I was wrong about-THE LIST NEVER ENDS

I finally learned my lesson of being a rude and inconsiderate human being-I AM SO SORRY FOR EVERYTHING.

I manage to catch up with people who i accidentally left them out before, i will treasure them more than ever now-The F4 juniors and beloved F5s

I learned to be more unsensitive towards the 4 letter words called love-I KNOW I AM STILL EMO

I learned to appreciate and love and treasure them-MY FAMILY and MY GRANDMOTHER

oh well, i would say this was a year full of valuable lessons which will benefit me in the future.

And before this wonderful year ends,

To every single person who stood by me when i was down and emo and so caught up, really appreciate all your effort which work miraculously.

To bunch of wonderful people work together with me in all video productions, you guys really really rock!

To those who are there as a friend everytime, i just wanna give a you a big hug if i could.

To people who dislike me for whatever reason, you guys made me a better person.

To people who i mistreated and made you feel left out, I want to let you know that I am very sorry.

To those who are reading this blog, a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to you!

was at SG to survey the both polytechnic that i plan to study at.

one look very demanding while the other look very down to earth.

one concentrates on the technical part of film while the other concentrate on the conceptualize part of film

one have super state of the art facilities while another one have quite good equipment too but not as good as the other one.

one seems to be demanding in their entry requirement while the other one is less demanding.

one is a media school while the other is a design school.

but both cost around the same.

both seems to have committed and good lecturers.

DAMN.

heading to trolak, perak today. YEAP. not even one week back from pangkor (perak also mar), i am heading to another part of perak again. Just to fetch my sister back from her camp. Its been a week she's not home and its quiet. Its very peaceful too! No fights, No arguments!
